Labsky XB Student's Thoughts

A few days ago, in english class, I interviewed a few of my friends on their thoughts, opinions and preferences about a few topics that have been assigned to us. Here are the results of the interview!

Gadgets
The most wanted gadget that my friends answered is, the iPad. It seems like apple has really been taking the world by storm, including Indonesia. 90% of the people I interviewed answered iPad as their dream gadget. But when I asked why, none of them had a clear answer, only 'Well... because I would like one.' Well, in my opinion, I think that most Indonesian citizens, specifically those in the city, are very much influenced with the western lifestyle. So if there is a trend there, we Indonesian citizens will very likely pick up on that trend.

Food
The question I popped my friends was a simple question. Which do you prefer? Klepon or cupcakes? And, to my surprise and delight.... Around 65% answered klepon! This made me quite surprised because truthfully, I expected my friends to favor delicacies from abroad rather than in our homeland right here. But it did make me happy because I personally love klepon n__n And this interview showed that actually, we really do love our homeland and that our delicacies and culture is actually loved by us!

Transportation
Around 80% of the friends I interviewed answered that they liked to ride the Busway better than any other public transportation. Which was not quite that surprising, seeing as the Busway is actually a comfortable ride. It is air conditioned and has a quite cheap fare. Although others that I interviewed chose Ojek too, because they said it is much more convenient to manuever through the heavy traffic of Jakarta.







Well, that was my interview on the teenager's thoughts about a few topics these days. I hope that this information is useful.
